Dr. Van Jerwin P Mercado is a medical doctor who is currently pursuing Masters in Public Health at BRAC James P. Grant School of Public Health under the WHO TDR Post-Graduate Training Fellowship in Implementation Research. He is concurrently an Assistant Professor at the University of the Philippines Manila and has a special interest in immunology, biochemistry, parasitology and HIV/AIDS.
