BIO
I am currently a Research Fellow at KHANA Center for Population Health Research, KHANA, and a Lecturer at the University of Health Sciences and the National Institute of Public Health. I am a Senior Program Officer of “Implementation and Evaluation of a Community-Based Model for Delivery of Antiretroviral Therapy (ART) in Cambodia,” a research fellow for the international project for the Development of Comparable and Comprehensive NCDs surveillance system in 6 countries in ASEAN and also a research coordinator of the Mobile Link trials, and a few more minor research projects.
I accomplished my MPH from Flinders University in 2013 Bachelor of Nursing at the International University in Phnom Penh in 2009. I completed a three-year program as a Registered Nurse in 2003 and an Associate degree in English in 2007.
I am a committed, self-motivated, and result-oriented public health professional with over 10-year work experience in designing, program implementation, monitoring and evaluation, conducting research, training, and organizing public health events. Experienced working in international and local NGOs, including KHANA Center for Population Health Research, KHANA, World Vision International in Cambodia, Health Unlimited, CARE International in Cambodia, and RACHANA NGO; I have gained a lot of work experience in both management and leadership and programming and research in the public health area, especially in Maternal Child Health, Nutrition, HIV and AIDS, non-communicable diseases, health promotion, and health system strengthening. I am also an author and co-author of many research articles published in international peer-reviewed journals and operational reports. I am a founder and executive team leader of the Independent Voluntary First Aid Team (IVFAT) and Khmer Foundation for Health and Education (KFHE).
Currently, I am an active member of the World Public Health Nutrition Association (WPHNA), an active member of the International AIDS Society (IAS), and a lifetime member of the Australian Alumni Association of Cambodia (AAA-C).
