Dr. Olabisi Oduwole holds a Ph.D. degree in Medical Parasitology from the University of Calabar, Nigeria and she is a registered Medical Laboratory Scientist. She has extensive clinical trial experience in tropical diseases research. At present, Dr. Oduwole is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Medical Laboratory Science, Achievers University, Owo, Ondo State, Nigeria. She is also an Associate Senior Researcher at Cochrane Nigeria.
One of her goals is to be a leading female University professor at the cutting edge of research geared towards tropical diseases in West Africa. Dr. Oduwole has published over 20 peer-reviewed papers including Cochrane systematic reviews. She is looking forward to working with international collaborators within and outside Africa especially in vector surveillance, neglected tropical diseases and implementation researches.
Her hobbies entail reading, traveling, meeting new people and going for a long walk.
