Prof Nilanthi de Silva is a medical parasitologist with a research interest in the epidemiology, prevention and control of soil-transmitted helminth infections. She is a member of several technical advisory groups on the subject, including WHO-SEA RPRG on LF and STH, and the WHO-NTD TAG on Schistosomiasis and STH
