BIO

I am a Professor of Medical Entomology & Vector Control at the School of Public Health, Tehran University of Medical Sciences. I have worked at the university during the past 36 years and my interest has been Leishmaniasis, Malaria and Dengue fever. My current recent focuses on Sand fly fever in Iran. I am a member of WHO Expert Advisory Panel on Vector Biology & Control and also Expert of WHO on Leishmaniasis ,EMRO since 2008. I am president of the Iranian Scientific Association of Medical Entomology and Chairman of the Journal of Arthropod -Borne Diseases. To date I have published a total of 156 Scientific papers in different international Journals and 135 articles has presented in international meetings.
