BIO
Dr. Mohamadou Siribié is a Research Officer/Clinical trialist at “Groupe de Recherche Action en Santé (GRAS)” www.gras.bf. Mohamadou has a MD degree (from the University of Burkina Faso) and a PhD degree in Epidemiology (from the University of Rome “La Sapienza »). Mohamadou has received various certifications on Principles and Practice of Clinical Research, on Vaccinology, on ICH – Good Clinical Practice as well as on Protecting Human Research Participants. Mohamadou is also a former EDCTP-TDR Clinical research and Development fellow trained at the International Vaccine Institute (IVI) in Seoul, South Korea.
Currently Mohamadou’s roles in GRAS is to participate in the design and to lead the day to day clinical studies as clinical team leader, sub-investigator and principal investigator of research projects as well as to contribute to the strategic growth of the group. Mohamadou works closely with Dr Sodiomon Sirima and Dr Alfred Tiono.
Mohamadou’s research interests focus on a wide range of activities including:
- Phase 1 to Phase IV studies
- Implementation research
- Clinical and public health issues of poverty-related infectious diseases severely affecting sub-Saharan African countries
including: epidemiology, burden disease studies…
- Systematic reviews and meta-analysis.
Mohamadou has authored or co-authored at least 15 scientific publications.
