As part of this year's 50th anniversary celebrations, TDR Global members were invited last year to share powerful images relevant to TDR’s history of tackling infectious diseases of poverty under the following categories: • Category 1 – Field research or public health in action;This photo depicts my engagement with the rural multicultural society of Iran during my research on community engagement of nomadic people towards COVID-19 control and prevention, which informed the design of a community awareness campaign. This activity was supported by a TDR grant and contributed to my promotion to district Public Health Specialist and Associate Professor at Mazandaran University of Medical Sciences.
