BIO

A Clinical Epidemiologist/Public Health Consultant who has worked across public service and academia in Kenya, with over 10 years of experience managing digital health initiatives and health systems strengthening programs as well as navigating Kenya's devolved health system. Adept at bridging the gap between innovative technology (including AI and data solutions) and primary healthcare delivery to drive scalable, sustainable health impacts. Formerly responsible for IPC of nosocomial infections and Antimicrobial Stewardship (AMS) at Kyuso and Tseikuru Level IV Hospitals, Kitui County, Kenya. Currently supporting the MOH, Kitui County in investigating why more women are not coming back to deliver in hospital despite attending  antenatal care clinic and are reminded on the importance of coming back to deliver in a study titled " Effect of Enhanced Prenatal Health Education on health seeking behaviour among women in Kitui County, Kenya".
