BIO

In 2015 I started a master's degree in epidemiology (full time) at the National School of Public Health of the University of Antioquia with emphasis on the implementation of interventions in infectious diseases associated with poverty. This was funded by the Special Program for Research and Capitation in Tropical Diseases ascribed to the World Health Organization (TDR/WHO). I obtained the first place among a total of 68 Colombian aspirants and this allowed me to receive a full scholarship from TDR / WHO for my master's degree. My master's thesis was related to the stigma and delays in the diagnosis of TB patients in Medellin, which was distinguished at the 22nd Annual Conference of the Union North America Region in Chicago in 2018 and selected for oral presentation at the Symposium Research "Knowledge for the construction of public policies on health" held in February 2019.

Since 2018 I have been working as an epidemiologist of the Clinical Research Center of the Instituto Neurologico de Colombia foundation.
