DrFrederic Nikiema

Graduated from the University of Ouagadougou (Burkina Faso) in human medicine in 2012, trained at the University of Oxford in Vaccine bio manufacturing and Clinical Development in 2019, I am currently a master student in Vaccinology and Drug Development from the University of Siena (Italy). This master program should be completed in December 2020. Professionally, I worked as clinical investigator for malaria and tropical neglected diseases branch of “Institut de Recherche en Sciences de la santé, IRSS”, one of the lead research institution in Burkina Faso. My main tasks are to contribute to design clinical trials for our settings and to ensure the implementation of these trials where assessed in human subjects the efficacy and safety of new drugs and vaccines developed by pharmaceutical companies or universities. I also ensures the recruitment and the follow up of subjects involved in these trials. I was the author and co-author of several scientific papers for international journals.
