BIO

I am a molecular epidemiologist. I have been working on infectious diseases for a long time, including dengue fever, HIV, H5N1 avian influenza, rotavirus, and others, since 1994. And since some time (about 9 years) ago until now he is interested in and is currently working on cardiovascular disease research, especially in terms of molecular and genetics in relation to disease mechanisms.
I am also interested in stem cells, and have worked on clinical trials for CD133 stem cells in cardiac regeneration, by administering via injection into the heart tissue in the infarct area during open heart surgery. In addition, I have also conducted in vitro research for purification and culturing of heart stem cells, I am also actively teaching as a lecturer at the medical faculty and postgraduate school in public health
Besides that, I am also actively teaching as a lecturer at the medical faculty and postgraduate school of public health at the university of Muhammadiyah Prof.Dr.HAMKA, in Jakarta., Indonesia
