BIO
I am a biomedical researcher and educator with more than twelve years of experience in public health. I serve as a member of the Scientific and Technical Advisory Committee of the UNICEF/UNDP/World Bank/WHO Special Programme for Research and Training in Tropical Diseases (TDR). I am a faculty member and researcher at Eduardo Mondlane University in Mozambique. I hold a PhD in Biosciences and Public Health, and I am a UNESCO-TWAS Young Affiliate. I am also an advocate for youth and women in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). My professional work is strongly committed to advancing science diplomacy and promoting sustainable development.
