Dr. Cheick Oumar Doumbia is a Medical Doctor and epidemiologist with expertise in clinical research, infectious disease epidemiology, implementation research, and operational research.
Originating from Mali, Dr. Doumbia began his academic journey at the Université des Sciences des Techniques et des Technologies de Bamako (USTTB), where he earned his Medical Doctorate. Pursuing his interest in infectious diseases, he furthered his education at the University of Ghana School of Public Health, obtaining a Master of Public Health with a specialization in Epidemiology and Diseases Control through the prestigious WHO-TDR postgraduate scholarship.
Throughout his career, Dr. Doumbia has held esteemed positions in academic and research institutions. At the University Clinical Research Center at USTTB, he has made significant contributions as an Epidemiologist and Clinical Investigator, advancing clinical research methodologies and epidemiological understanding. His tenure as a Visiting Researcher at the Bernhard Nocht Institute for Tropical Medicine in Hamburg, Germany, enriched his expertise and broadened his perspective on global health challenges.
Dr. Doumbia's extensive research covers a wide array of critical public health issues within international research teams globally.
