• I am a Professor of Pharmaceutical Microbiology and Biotechnology;

• Fellow of the World Health Organization (FWHO);

• A Fellow of the Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (FRSTMH);

• Fellow of the Institute of Corporate Administration (FCAI);

• I have over Fifty Seven (57) Publications including Technical Reports and Scientific Papers in both Local and International peer reviewed Journals; my most recent publication was in the British Microbiology Research Journal, 2013, vol. 3 (3), Pgs 431 – 439;

• I have FOUR ( 4 ) PATENTS granted for my original inventions;

• A PhD student I co-supervised graduated and was granted a PhD degree in Medical Microbiology by the University of Abuja on the 15th of March, 2013;

• Won FOUR TIMES ( 4 ), internationally competed for UNDP/World Bank/WHO-TDR Research Training / Operational Research Grants;

• Read the BSc (Hons) and MSc degrees on Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) scholarship and the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree on a UNDP/World Bank/WHO-TDR scholarship (WHO Fellow);

• Served as Consultant to WHO-TDR on Onchocerciasis, UNDP on Infectious Diseases including HIV/AIDS control at Community Level, UNICEF on Childhood Diseases and to The Carter Centre / Global 2000 on Operational Research involving the Assessment and Evaluation of the Guinea Worm Eradication Programme in Nigeria and the Rehabilitation of Broken – Down Bore-Holes in Guinea Worm endemic parts of the Country, especially Aninri LGA of Enugu State;

• I have been Director, Medical Biotechnology Department, National Biotechnology Development Agency (NABDA), Federal Ministry of Science and Technology (FMST), Abuja since 11th November, 2008.
