    I am MD in Preventive Social Medicine. I worked as Epidemiologist earlier with medical education department of Maharashtra State for over three years at Indira Gandhi Medical College Nagpur (India). Currently, I am working as Scientist and Group Leader of Epidemiology Group at Indian Council of Medical Research - National Institute of Virology Pune (India). My areas of special interest are epidemiology and investigation of virus infectious diseases and outbreak response for prevention and control. I am interested in working on prevention interventions and its implementation research with special focus on vaccine preventable, neglected tropical and emerging infectious diseases impacting human health.
