Currently, I am working as a research fellow at the Centro Internacional de Entrenamiento e Investigaciones Médicas (CIDEIM) for the Social Innovation in Health Initiative (SIHI) project in Colombia. In this role, I provide strategic and technical assistance to the SIHI Latin America and the Caribbean research hub team. Previously, I worked as a social Innovation in Health Officer at TDR where I managed and coordinated multi-country projects and liaised with intersectoral partners to promote and enhance research in social innovation. I also assisted the Initiative by providing both administrative and technical support.

I have earned a master’s degree in Control of Infectious Diseases from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. As a global health enthusiast, I am passionate about reducing infectious disease burden in low- and middle-income countries. I have worked as a Research Fellow at the International Diagnostic Center at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and contributed to advocacy and policy adoption for implementing potential diagnostics in resource-poor settings. In addition, I continued my work in diagnostics research as a short-term consultant for the Longitude Prize Clinical Validation Project at Nesta, UK. My research experiences include a mixed method study on IPTp uptake in Nigeria and a review on implementation and adoption challenges for point-of-care(POC) diagnostics in low resource settings.
