    Dr Adamu is a medical doctor with postgraduate level training in quantitative and qualitative knowledge synthesis, implementation research including application of mHealth and GIS, and quantitative epidemiology. He's one of the recipients of the 2016 WHO/TDR implementation science scholarship administered by the Division of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, Wits School of Public Health, Johannesburg.

    Abdu's work and research interest are developing new strategies, and engaging in knowledge translation activities to improve access and delivery systems for health services (including immunization) in sub-Saharan Africa. He has experience working on diseases of poverty (neglected tropical diseases) including TB, and HIV.
